ACCOMMODATION
INDIVIDUAL UNITS
We have 10 individual units. We have a choice of sizes including three standard units which are 5.9 cubic metres (unit 1,2,3) and 6.4 cubic metres (unit 7), 3 Family rooms (unit 6,8,9) which are 7.6 cubic metres , two double rooms (Units 4 and 10) which are approx 11 cubic metres and another family size room that does not have a direct window (unit 5). All have an additional window/s (exc Unit 5) where the cats can jump and sleep or watch the local birdlife and surroundings.
Background music is playing during the day to keep our guests calm. The cattery is completely insulated and with 2 heat pumps, all the rooms are kept warm in the cooler winter months and cooler in the summer months. The double units also have their own heater.
Each unit has a running water fountain for those cats that prefer running water, plus a cat tree, toys sleeping mattresses and cat cave under the cat tree for those that like to hide.
These rooms are perfect for the older cat, or those that are not sociable, or clients that prefer to have their cats in a space where they have total peace and quiet. Some of the benefits of these units are that the guests are not put into their sleeping/feeding area at night, and can graze on food 24 hours/day, and choose where they want to sleep.
We do have an option of cats that are in the individual units to also enjoy some time in the communal area – please discuss this option with us.
Our guests all enjoy lots of pats and cuddles (should your cat like this), playtime and complimentary basic grooming.
Units are serviced daily and cleaned with only vet grade detergent. Litter trays are changed after every use.
Food bowls are replaced after every meal.
COMMUNAL AREA
We have a large area where our guests can explore during the day, climb some of our cat trees, bask in the sun in front of our large floor to ceiling curved window, check out the native bush from the all-weather deck area or play with some of the cat toys around the lounge area. Cats can climb up on top of the night boxes to get a high view of what is going on outside and take a walk on our suspended catwalk over the cattery, or simply just sleep on one of our cat trees.
We have background music playing to keep our guests calm through the day and also have a TV on for those that like moving entertainment.
We also have running water fountains for guests that prefer running water to drink. The cattery is completely insulated and with 2 heat pumps, all the rooms are kept warm in the cooler winter months and cooler in the summer months.
In the evening our guests retire into their own night box which is where they get fed their breakfast and dinner. Each night box has their own bed, cat litter box and feeding bowls.
Each night box is serviced every morning and cleaned using vet grade detergent. Fresh water is replaced daily. Food bowls are replaced after every meal.
Our guests all enjoy lots of pats and cuddles (should your cat like this) playtime, and complimentary basic grooming.
We update our Facebook page every 3-4 days of our guests so you can see your cat relaxing and happy whilst you are away. Please like us on Facebook.
